DR. SOHEL IMTIAZ

Dr. Sohel Imtiaz earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University in 1997. From 1997 to 2013, Dr. Imtiaz worked in several technology companies in Silicon Valley in various technical and technical-management positions. In 2013, he co-Founded Innovative Power Manament where he served as its President and CEO. Since 2016, Dr. Imtiaz has been with US Department of Commerce. On the humanitarian side, Dr. Imtiaz started very early in life when he was in High School as the President of Interact Club, a part of Rotaract Club in 1977. He continued to help the poor and disadvantaged people of Bangladesh throughout his life. In 2002, he joined ECHO-USA as a member of its Board of Directors where he served as President from 2008 to 2010. Currently he is an advisor of ECHO-USA.
