Feed The Hungry
program is solely meant to feed the needy and poor.
ECHO and its local partners
provide food for people in remote areas of Rangpur, Cox's Bazar, Kushtia,
Jessore, Chattogram, Gazipur, Patuakhali and Barisal.
Beneficiaries: Flood Affected People, River Erosion Affected
People, People With Disability (PWD), Widow, Elderly Men and Women, Orphans,
Beggars, Day Labor, Rickshaw Puller, Unemployed Fishermen
Food: Beef Biryani, Egg, Sweetmeat, Bottled Water

Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (May
Allah be pleased with them) reported: A man asked the Messenger of Allah PBUH:
"Which act in Islam is the best?" He replied, "To give food, and
to greet everyone, whether you know or you do not." [Al-Bukhari and
Muslim]
Allah describes the believers as virtuous in the Quran: “, and give
food—despite their desire for it—to the poor, the orphan, and the captive.”
(Al-Insan 5 - 8).
