Aliya Shafquat is a long time resident of the Bay Area and has been with ECHO for the last 10 years. Her passion is to help others whenever opportunity arises, and motivate others to do the same. She graduated from Virginia Tech, and worked at Intel as Chip Design Engineer for 18 years. She is the founder and President of Tahoe, the first formal VLSI training Institute in Bangladesh. She is currently focused on her high-tech Systems company Teton Electronics Inc. where she is the founder and VP of Silicon Engineering.
